ABOUT US

On August 26th 2013, Brandon Ewers set out on self supported journey riding a mountain bike across the western US to raise funds for mental health research and awareness. This journey started in Portland, Oregon and traveled down the pacific coast highway to San Diego. The ride for awareness then took him back up to Nevada across Utah, Colorado and back home to Austin, Texas. 100% of the funds raised were dedicated to building better lives for children and youth affected by mental illness.

The 60/40 Foundation - 60% is mental and 40% is action. This effort is to raise funds which will provide children and teenagers with bicycles in order to create an outlet to express themselves and cope with their struggle with mental health disorders.

This is where we need your help. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, nearly 60 million Americans experience a mental health condition every year. Regardless of race, age, religion or economic status, mental illness impacts the lives of at least one in four adults and one in 10 children across the United States. People living with mental illness need help and hope: they need a community that supports them, their families and their recovery.

Because mental illness devastates the lives of so many Americans, we need your help in donating to this great cause in hopes to making a change.

Sincerely,

60/40 Foundation
